Terms and Conditions
Catering Orders
- Deakin University Purchases Orders/Standing Order numbers must be received prior to the dispatching of any goods or services.
- All catering orders must be received by midday of the day prior to the event. If an order comes in after midday the organiser will incur a late fee of $25.00.
- Confirmation of catering numbers is required 24 hours at least prior to the event. This confirmed number will be the minimum number charged to your account.
- Organisers to ensure tables are provided at the delivery location.
Surcharges
- Serviced Functions will incur an additional cost and any functions after the time of 5pm on Weekdays
- Weekend Surcharges Apply
Accounts
- The payment options are invoicing, deakin charge card and credit card
Cancellations
- Less than 48 hours notice of cancellation will result in a 50% payment and less than 24 hours notice will result in full payment for the booked function.
Delivery
- Catering must exceed $50 per delivery (not total order), if not a delivery fee will be added to male the order up to $50 per delivery.
Dietary Requirements
- We understand the importance of catering for specialised dietary needs. With advanced notice, some of the menus can be tailored to your requirements.
Venue Availability
- Please note that Zest is able to book the following venues (depending on availability) for your function on the Burwood Campus: Einstein's Bar & Cafe'.
Cleaning and Damages
- Zest Catering takes no responsibility for the room cleaning/damage costs at the completion of a function.
Lost or Broken Equipment
- Any lost or broken equipment will be at the customer's expense. The customer will be notified of any charges. For example Platters - $40.00, Cutlery - $2.50 each, Glasses - $4.00, Insulated milk jugs - $50.00, Tea boxes - $45.00, etc

- All prices are GST inclusive
